Jar of Poetry Episode 2 Abraham Hicks

Much love and appreciation for my Spiritual Badass teacher, Abraham Hicks. The Universe had me pick some of my favorite poems that I was influenced to write after learning from Abraham Hicks.

Poetry Jam (Who You Are, From the Inside, The Path, and What’s Soon to Be) Appreciation, Self-Love, Forgiveness, and the Vortex in Happy Mindset Poetry.

I love the teachings of Abraham Hicks. They have been huge in helping through the ups and downs of life.

Why Do You Write Poetry?

Wazzuppp Poetry boy? Why poetry?

In the video below I answer that question.  I’m also curious, why do you write poetry?  Why do you do that special thing that makes you unique? Who is the real you that you want you to be?

Check out the video. Please leave a comment on YouTube and let me know your thoughts.

Why Poetry?

I love writing poetry
It’s the voices in my head
I listen to what they say
And I write down what they said

I love to greet the sunrise
And the sunset at night
The Moon showing up for me
Knowing when to shine its light

For me, my writing is all about self-love and appreciation for the beautiful things in life. My goal is to pursue joy and I’ve found my writing helps me on my journey.

I want to hear from you. Why do you do what you do?

Happiness and Harmony,

Jace Jacobs

Introducing Jar of Poetry Episode 1

Welcome to Jar of Poetry. This is a new series I’m having fun with on my YouTube channel. Basically, I have a big old jar filled with post-it notes as my co-star. On each note is the title of a poem I’ve written. I reach in, pull out a note, and then perform that poem as spoken word poetry.

It’s a lot of fun and there have been some close calls where I had to search deep in my brain for the words while performing the poetry.  Each video I perform 3 poems.

Check out the first video I did below. Thank you!

Happiness and Harmony,

Jace

Exactly What I Needed…

The empowering words and concepts I write about are exactly what my younger self needed to embrace 20 years ago.

I expect the unexpected
And each time I see
Something unexpectedly awesome
Shows up for me

Back in my youth, I was low on self-esteem and badly in need of a life upgrade.

As I discovered new mindset concepts, I implemented what I learned.

I stopped acting like I was victimized and instead started taking ownership of my life.

Being a victim didn’t align with who I was on the inside and who I wanted to be on the outside.

Life got better and better and better.

When it comes to the unknown

I’ll take useful over true

Long before and soon again

Offering a soulful hug for you
